The Attic-Lift

Once I got everything installed, the attic lift worked great. The instructions were a little hard to follow and the on line tutorial can be a little confusing. The installation took a lot longer than expected. I had to cut a whole in the attic floor. A paper template for the size of the cut would have been helpful. Again, great product once installed.

I had to give the lift a 5 star rating, but there is a side note. The directions were very difficult to work with. They try to describe the installation for every different Lift in one set of instructions. It makes it very difficult. The Video is hard to understand. I spent the better part of 2 weeks going over everything several times before I had the courage to cut the hole in my attic, Normally, I am not bad at building and installing things, but I begged my son to help because he is real techy. I would over analyze every step before starting the process which helped. Once completed, I have been very pleased, but the process was pretty involved. The reason for the 5 stars is because the actual lift is designed to over the top. It's design is incredible! They just had trouble putting that into a good set of instructions.

This attic lift is one of my favorite home improvements yet. No more taking seasonal decorations up the attic ladder to store. It is made from the finest components available and well engineered. I love that it is made in the USA and the workmanship shows. Their customer service is truly delightful. I give this product my highest recommendation.

Definitely watch the video before installation, it will save you some time. The paper instructions may be overwhelming, but it is relatively easy to install and adjust. I'm finally getting all my useless items out of the attic.
