5-Year Premier Attic-Lift Coverage

I read all the reviews and decided to purchase. I was afraid of my attic steps at my age. I was concerned about the install after reading the reviews so I attempted to get it installed but the installer in my area never even sent me my quote. My husband and his friend installed and said it was very user friendly. They started around 9:30 and finished up about 4 and it is awesome. All my heavy items are in the attic nicely organized thanks to this lift and my husband. Excellent product! I highly reccomend!

I have been wanting some sort of electric lift for my attic ever since I took a fall when my old attic ladder broke while I was hauling some items up to my garage attic. I got the ladder replaced with a new stronger one, but I was still very hesitant to use the attic. I researched many different kinds of lifts. Looked at all of the pros and cons related to different designs. I decided on the Auxx Attic Lift and I am very glad that I did. It is a great lift. It was relatively easy to install and setup. My installation was a bit challenging because I was placing it right next to my attic ladder, see photos. Having this lift has made a huge difference in the effort and concern someone may have about moving stuff up into a garage attic. I have only had this lift in operation for a little over a week now, but it has been a game changer.

I really wanted to give this lift 5 stars, and while I couldn’t quite get there overall, there’s still a lot to appreciate. The concept and design of the Auxx-Lift are excellent — it reaches floor level in the attic, has no cage to work around, offers a higher weight capacity than competitors, and comes at a more affordable price point. Those features were exactly why I chose it after doing my research.

I’m not an experienced DIYer, so I initially looked for qualified installers near Chattanooga, TN. The only company I found handled the lift installation itself but not the structural or electrical prep work. I eventually hired a couple of local handymen who were willing to take it on even though it was their first time installing one. They got the opening cut, the lift assembled, and the electrical work prepped without much trouble, but dialing in the mechanical adjustments proved challenging — the instructions definitely leave room for improvement.
What made the difference was Auxx-Lift’s customer support. My wife reached a technician named Scott, and he spent about 45 minutes on the phone walking the installers through the final adjustments. Thanks to his expertise, everything came together. Without his help, I’m not sure we would’ve gotten it working correctly, so a big thank you to him.
During testing, we did notice the motors heat up quickly and temporarily shut down, which other reviewers have mentioned. After cooling, they work again. We haven’t yet used the lift under load, so we’re hoping it will handle a couple of trips before needing a cooldown.

Overall, the lift itself has great potential, and the customer support — especially Scott — was outstanding. With clearer instructions and a bit more refinement, this would easily be a 5‑star product.

I worry about falling when trying to get all of my wife’s Christmas totes out of the attic. This system works perfectly and gives me peace of mind. Works as advertised. My only reason for giving 4 and not a 5 star is the directions could be so much better. The supplied video made the difference for me to install it by myself.

Without his assistance, I doubt we would have successfully completed the adjustments.

Once everything was set up correctly, the attic lift worked as advertised. One thing to note for those with high ceilings: it seems that you can only operate the lift about three or four times before it needs to cool down. This is something to keep in mind if you're planning to use it frequently.

Overall, while the installation instructions could use improvement, the excellent customer service and functionality of the lift make it a worthwhile investment.
