    Lay out the two strut channels and make sure you have the required clearances as outlined above. (If strut channels have to be installed parallel to the joists, see installation instructions.)

    Install the strut channel with side holes on the side of the controller and outlet.

  • 3

    Anchor the strut channels with (8) 5/16 in x 4 in Spax screws and washers to the ceiling joist.

  • 4

    Install grommets as shown above.
